Aspiring leader, Elise does her best to look after the clan. She started off as a hatchling Helper, but has moved up to Hand. Under Calder's guidance she raises and babysits the hatchlings when the parents are away. When she's finished with her duties as a hatchling Hand, she moves to the infirmary to tend to those who were injured during training or while defending Chislon. Her mother, Robin, is Head of the infirmary. Their relationship is a bit strained. Robin did not tend to either her, or her sister, Flavia, much when they were hatchlings. As a result, the three of them are not very close. Elise and Flavia are trying to reconcile this in their own way, but it's taking many awkward meetings. The time spent in the infirmary with Robin is equally tense for Elise.

Besides acting as a Hand and Helper, Elise tries to bring as much knowledge to the clan as possible. She studies hatchling behavior and how certain wounds react to specific medicine. She reports her observations to the parents of the hatchlings, Calder, and Epsilon. Calder uses any information on hatchlings to improve his methods and Epsilon takes Elise's notes into consideration when brewing a new batch of remedies.

When she's finally free from her responsibilities as a Hand or Helper she goes to spend her time with her mates Sigma and Phanes. The three of them can be found lazing by the reflecting pools.

Raja took Elise under her wing after seeing the disconnect between her and her mother. She ensures that Elise is happy and healthy, doting on her a little like a mother would. Raja loves how curious Elise is and provides her with texts. Because Raja has become almost like an adoptive mother to her, Elise has bonded with Lemuel, Raja and Knox's son. If Elise has free time and can't be found with Sigma or Phanes, she's most likely with Lemuel.

Neither Risa or Akron seem to have much lust for leading, but Elise seems to have accidentally prepared to lead Chislon once Kira is gone. With her experience in tending to wounds and raising hatchlings, she'd make for a good Matriarch if anything happened to Kira and Calder.

Her horns and wings grew improperly due to a cracked egg. Magic seeped in and caused a few mutations.

Permanent Mates: Sigma and Phanes

The two girls knew each other before Phanes came along, but had only been courting in secret for about a week before befriending Phanes. They work well together, complimenting each other's personalities. Elise's enthusiasm is muted by Sigma's almost apathetic demeanor.

The two of them fly around to spend their remaining energy after a day off. Sigma judges their flights and likes to pit them against each other as often as possible. It makes her job more entertaining.
Elise helps Phanes pick out trinkets to line their nest because she knows how much a "proper nest" means to him. He appreciates her willingness to go out of her way to make him and Sigma happy.
