Showy Bells 		Phanes grew up as a quiet child, never starying from his mother, Yume. While he is still as reserved and level-headed as he was in youth, he's a become a bit pretentious.

He met Sigma first and she later introduced him to Elise. Hesitant to become comrades at first, he tried to maintain a cool demeanor. It didn't last long.

Now, the three of them laze by the reflecting pools. He likes to think the three of them are inseparable, but he knows Elise is prone to getting absorbed in her work. As a result, he's able to spend more time with Sigma. What Elise lacks in availability, she makes up for in enthusiasm. Phanes is repeatedly caught off guard by the intensity of her affection and her dedication to him and Sigma, even after a long shift as the Hatchling Hand.

At first he only learned how to fight because Knox dragged him and the girls into the Starwood Strand to train. Then it was because Flavia wanted to bond with her sister over a sparring session, and Elise didn't feel comfortable going alone. After his mother died he pursued training more seriously.

He spends most of his time at the reflecting pool with Sigma and Elise. If they're not there, they might be flying around for a little bit of exercise, or more likely, inside, sleeping.

He's the clan's only vegetarian.

The two of them fly around to spend their remaining energy after a day off. Sigma judges their flights and likes to pit them against each other as often as possible. It makes her job more entertaining.
Elise helps Phanes pick out trinkets to line their nest because she knows how much a "proper nest" means to him. He appreciates her willingness to go out of her way to make him and Sigma happy. 		Madame Snapdragon

Sigma and Phanes stuck to each other like glue after first meeting. It turned out that this was because the trio worked so well together. With Elise consistently gone to fulfill her duties as Hand and Helper, Phanes and Sigma are left alone a lot more often than previously. They pretend to love their alone time, but in truth they usually just nap until Elise arrives home. That or preen each other.

Chislon's dragons come to Phanes when they need help finding the perfect finishing piece to their outfit. Sometimes he suggests a makeover as well, but other times he simply picks through his hoard and gives the dragon what they need.
