Sigma is a bit vain, partially due to her youth and partially because it's in her nature. She simply thinks she's the best around. No one blames her, because she pretty much is. When first encountered, she'll come across as a bit off-putting, likely trying to curtly end the conversation as soon as possible. Spend a few more days trying to talk to her and you may be able to get in a few words before she finds a way to escape. Despite this, Elise and Phanes were both able to charm her into becoming their mates. She spends most of her days with them at the reflecting pools or lazing in their chambers. Sometimes she'll visit her daughter, Epsilon, or her granddaughter, Khione, while they're busy at work, but not very often. Rinku and Capala adopted her after hearing that an old friend of theirs from Charged Barrens wouldn't be able to take care of her. She knows they're not her hatch parents, but they raised her alongside their twin hatchlings, Penn and Anahira. She can't imagine her family any differently. Penn and Anahira have never been anything but nice to her, save the typical sibling squalls. They've always gotten along just fine and even offered to babysit Epsilon while she was growing up. The three of them are as different as can be, but truly do care for each other deeply. Sigma will, while she thinks no one is looking, drop off the occasional trinket for their nests or sweet treat. Penn finds flowers for his sisters, as he knows both of them have their favorites. Anahira fusses over both of them and spends more time preening them than she does herself. Her Glassbound Gustvul familiar is a piece of gembond that flaked off and became animated. Now Epsilon makes her stand a bit further away from the cauldron. |

Permanent mates: Elise and Phanes

Sigma and Elise
The two girls knew each other before Phanes came along, but had only been courting in secret for about a week before befriending Phanes. They work well together, complimenting each other's personalities. Elise's enthusiasm is muted by Sigma's almost apathetic demeanor.

Sigma and Phanes
Sigma and Phanes stuck to each other like glue after first meeting. It turned out that this was because the trio worked so well together. With Elise consistently gone to fulfill her duties as Hand and Helper, Phanes and Sigma are left alone a lot more often than previously. They pretend to love their alone time, but in truth they usually just nap until Elise arrives home. That or preen each other. |
