From the first time Soren stepped foot onto the old grounds of the Shattered Plain, he knew he was home. Sure, it isn’t glamorous living off of dust and sand and stale ground water, but Soren has never been the type of person to long for an easy life. He appreciates hard work—craves it, really—and approaches each day with an equal earnestness and determination to do his job and do it well. He founded the Den quite by accident; perhaps owing to Ben’s charm, but likely just as much due to Soren’s own quiet charisma. The Den stumbled into contract work through the natural prowess of Samoon, and they’ve been builders ever since. Although, lately, they’ve been facing some hard times. Soren puzzles over how best to save his clan from ruin as Dragonhome is overwhelmed by a boom of tourists, archeologists, and those with ill intentions looking to explore the mysterious tunnel networks that lie beneath their feet. Late at night, Soren tosses sleeplessly, listening without listening to the quiet voice from the caves that promises a path to fortune.
