Planning ahead has never been Ben’s style. When he discovered that his charge was an overthinking guy with a one-track mind, he thought it was uncanny how fate had brought him such a terrible match. Ben and Soren have been companions for many years, and over that time they’ve managed to bridge the gap built by their opposite personalities. Ben, never one to sweat the small stuff (or anything, really) keeps a cool head in just about any situation; he follows his clan leader without fail, always providing a solid shoulder to lean on. There are rumors that the two share a bond slightly deeper than friendship, but no one is all too willing to bring it up outside of hushed gossip. As the Den sinks further into debt, Ben finds himself more necessary than ever. His patience, once seemingly endless, is stretched thin as more responsibility is piled onto his plate. More than ever, he desperately wishes to fly away from the desert and find somewhere green to retire in.
