Eira ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ Born into a wealthy community her parents were well integrated into, the young white pearlcatcher had been trained her entire life to be a well-spoken lady of court. It always felt a little stuffy but nonetheless she bore it with head held high. It never seemed to earn her the respect she felt she deserved, however,turns out doing what one was told never quite reaped the rewards it promised. So she decided to bring in a thief that had been plaguing her parents stores for a while. Of course Eira had been expressly forbidden from going anywhere near the theif if she ever managed to find her, but she figured bringing the thief in would force her parents to notice her. All seemed to go to plan, that was, until it didn't. Capturing the other young pearlcatcher, Eira had for a while, had her in custody, tied up and at her mercy. Far from finding a rouge rough thief, instead she found a rather anxious dragon a little younger than she was, shabby and clearly fighting for each meal she ate. It gave Eira pause, and instead of turning her in, she began to care for her. Insisting each day she'd turn the young dragon in, it was a little while before she could admit to herself she couldn't. Instead she found feelings she never knew she could have and to her delight, Elza felt the same. Eira has lived a very long life of excitement and adventure after running away from her high society life to be with her rather ragamuffin pirate wife, then girlfriend, Elza. Trained in the high class subtlties of court and politeness, Eira has managed to get them out of just about any situation that Elza couldn't. Wit, charm, grace and beauty fill in the cracks where Elza's more rough exterior can get them into trouble. While Elza was streetsmart and able to get her paws dirty, she was anxious and had trouble confronting people in the light. A natural place for Eira to step in, she began to run the show and soon they had themselves a crew which she lead with boldness and courage now recognised and appreciated. The two adore each other with their entire hearts and have travelled much of the world together throughout the years. Now most of that is behind them, they've settled down togther and formed a little community around themselves. They live mostly peaceful lives and never say no to a hatchling in need. Most of their crew have moved on to other ventures however they'll also often return, visiting the two ladies and asking their help or advice, well respected by those who know them. While they live this peaceful life, Eira can almost always be found with teacups or teapots about her, all for her wife whom loves tea more than most anything, Eira is always offering her a cup. |
