Biography
Ed is somewhat of a screwball. After hatching somewhere in the Frigid Floes, one of the first things he did was race crazily away from his pack. He hadn't exactly been intending to leave them; he just wanted to run and his brain had very little communication with the rest of him, so he ran. Coincidentally, he happened upon Myria, also newly hatched and beginning to establish her own clan, and took an instant and obsessive liking to her. Ed joined her clan and since no words passed between them, Myria had no say in the matter. In typical mirror fashion, Ed was not very chatty and this was ok with Myria as she had been raised in the Ice Flight where tundras and their fellows value companionable silence by virtue. As he spent so little time in his pack of origin, Ed never learned to speak very well, though he finds no difficulty in expressing anything he might wish to express vocally but nonverbally, and is completely illiterate.
