As the pack howls, the sky rumbles with a sudden crack of thunder, drowning out their cries. The wind began to grow violent, causing leaves and branches to rustle and sway. With each passing moment, the air grew increasingly charged with static electricity, creating an eerie tension in the atmosphere.

And then, just as suddenly as it had begun, the world seemed to explode in a deafening roar. A massive green portal opens up behind us, its edges crackling with energy. The swirling vortex pulses and thrums with power, beckoning with a strange allure that is impossible to resist.

For a moment all is still, wide-eyed in fear and curiosity.

“Get back!” Zenith thunders over the storm. But his warning is too late.

Green light flashes, once, twice, three times. A piercing sound that shakes me to the core explodes from the portal before it drags us into its depths.

The portal expels us into a barren red land. The air is thick with an odd sense of decay. I cough as I stand to my paws, shaking off the distasteful feeling.
