Gryphon's Peak
The town of Gryphon's Peak is known for its beautiful scenery of the ocean cliffs and forever autumnal forests around the Lanternlea Port, as well as its up-and-coming university. A lively atmosphere abounds in the town, perpetuated by enthusiastic scholars and friendly merchants. The Town Guard protects the people of town from any ne'er-do-wells, as well as, in rare occasions, evacuating the town when Luminax comes too close.
The university boasts researchers and professors in many fields of study, both magical and mundane, and many of its faculty study the nearby Daylight Sanctum, as well as the Hewn City and Emperor's Wake. The braver ones at least.
