I'd say "sorry that that happened" but tbh saying sorry always feels so cheap and easy, not like you really MEAN it, you know?

All I can say is I genuinely feel empathy for you (which is something I struggle with, so saying I empathize with you means I actually mean it), and it's so terrible about what happened.


I'm not quite sure if my Tulpas count as a system quite yet, or if they've even fully manifested. How can you tell when you become a system?

Corrupted Voidlight's are weaker in light tho so *claps* good job

Basically a Voidlight is like a shield from Alternates.

A Corrupted Voidlight, on the other hand, is what happens when you lock a Voidlight in a room with fifty Alternates for ten years and let them read a bunch of books on Necromancy. (Not literally, but like, you get the gist)
Their racial trait is Corrupted Chaos Walk. They've got the same interdimensional spells as their regular counterparts, but instead of dealing Holy and Radiant damage they deal Necrotic and Shadow damage. They can Create Undead, Raise Dead, Speak With Dead, and they can also cast Darkness, Fear, and Eldritch Blast among other things.

TL;DR- Voidlight's can pretty much defend you from Alternates, Corrupted Voidlight's are like Alternates on steroids.

Basically, they do the opposite of what Alternates do, kinda. They cast Calm Emotions on people (would Calm Emotions work on someone with M.A.D? And is M.A.D more like Hellish Rebuke or Vicious Mockery? Hmmmm) Voidlight's also deal Holy and Radiant damage to enemies. They can do ranged attacks but are pretty much useless in melee combat. They can also cast most Holy and Healing spells, although if your enemy is resistant to Holy damage (like... Well, Alternates. I'm pretty sure they spell reflect Holy damage.) They can also cast most interdimensional travel spells (Dimension Door, Change Planes, etc) All this is covered under the trait Chaos Walk, which I will have to redo to bed carefully filter out homebrew spells and Critical Role spells because DnDBeyond doesn't like licenced content that isn't owned by WotC

Pfft tbh that just sounds like the Corrupted Voidlight variant (for WHATEVER reason DnDBeyond is dumb and won't let me publish the Corrupted Voidlight's so when DnDBeyond stops being stupid I'll let you know)

Because just like Alex Casanas expanded the Monument Mythos universe with Nixonverse, Trinity Desk and American Anatomy, and just like Remy Abode expanded the Gemini Home Entertainment universe by creating Morley Grove, Alex Kister decided "aight imma expand my universe" and now has a secret side project.

Also, on his latest video "Mystifying Oracle," h changed the title to "Mystifying Oracle 1" and removed the bit in the description about it not being connected to the Mandela Catalogue sooooo

Oh also apparently Cesar's alive, which I legitimately just found out last night thanks to someone posting a clip of a QnA Livestream where Alex was like "Yes. Yes he is."


And the way he said it, made me go like

If Cesar's alive, that opens up a WHOLE NEW SUBPLOT for Volume 5. Tbh no idea when Vol. 5 will drop, but since Vol. 333 dropped in June and Vol. 4 dropped in November (and I'm pretty sure Vol. 2 dropped around January of last year) I'm assuming another 5 months for the final two, so May for Vol. 5 and October for Vol. 6

TBH I bet you Alex has it planned for the series finale to be titled Volume 666 and drop on Halloween

It would be an absolutely LEGENDARY conclusion to a series that started simply because a guy from Wisconsin was bored during quarantine

Honestly, I'd love to tweak it a little bit. To make it playable and not game-breaking, because Alternates are SUPER overpowered.

How would I even go about that?

For M.A.D, I guess they cast a ridiculously high leveled Vicious Mockery?
And since we know Six can shapeshift into cats, would Wild Shape be a viable option?
Or would Shapeshift be better?

I know they'd be able to cast Alter Self (that's kinda obvious) but like, you have to roll a D20, and the higher the number the better the mimicry, with a Nat 20 being a perfect copy like what Adam Murray has?

And then, would they be CE or CN? I mean, they SEEM Chaotic Evil, but if there are Alternates who don't know they're Alternates, I'd say they're Chaotic Neutral at least, or maybe Lawful Evil?

Do they have Infernal resistances being literal demons?

And, of course, do they get to be flying PCs?
And if they do, do they cast Fly or Levitate?

So many questions...
