The Crystal Nook is a kingdom floating in the Hoverview Vale, where a giant sky island houses its capital, New Nook City. A crystal refracting all 11 flight colors is the symbol of the city, and the kingdom's diverse denizens enjoy the foundational Arcane values of pursuing one's own dreams.

Pixel art of the Crystal Nook's flying island, animated to give the impression of a slight hovering motion. The underside of the island is made of rocks and dirt with large pink crystals on the bottom-most tips which keep the island aloft. The center of the island is a large swathe of grassland, surrounded by a circular walled structure. Within the wall is the city, rural neighborhoods, a lakeside castle, and a river cutting through the island. The end of the river flows through gates in the wall, where it pours off the side of the island. Tall pink mountains cradle the back of the island, with a sparkling rainbow between them. Also outside of the walls at different positions are a large flat rock, a forested wetland next to a lagoon, and an elevated platform with a runic circle surrounded by a semicircle of periwinkle trees.

Sadly I never got to play The Darkest Faerie because I didn't have the right console for it (though I did own a bunch of plushies and some silly little tamagotchi-type neopets playsets), but man, Neopets was my entire childhood. And teenagerhood. Was so dejected when Jumpstart basically killed it. Though I just recently heard it got bought by someone else who's working hard to revitalize it, so maybe there's still hope for Neo yet!

And you're so welcome - I was really happy to run into such a beautifully crafted wave of nostalgia in the wild <3 Had to gush!
