Through the dismal gloom you swiftly tread, into my barren home within the regions of the dead; Tendrils resilient and twisted membranes thick, you solemnly pass by the injured, dying and sick. In a shallow chasm this diseased lair is disguised and deep within in the inner-sanctum a golden beast reclines. From it's resplendent skin baleful vapours bubble and rise, it looks on; like smoke the essence clings to everything - killing the weak and empowering the strong, the golden beast can do nothing but look on with melancholic eyes. |
