Voidspeaker's Clan

A Winding path leads to a massive Cairn, its stones glittering from the traditional earthy sandstone to a light rosy quartz, the two blending seamlessly; all around you, you see places where the barren ground gives way to patches of virulent life. Some of it looks suspiciously like the glowing flora of the Tangled Wood, others (which are carefully contained by moats of boiling lava) look to be samples from the Scarred Wasteland. Off to either side of the entrance, you see other patches, some of brilliant greenery and others of flowing lifewater. Looking up, you see a small lighthouse set into the peak of the hill, and above that is a gently-floating islet upon which there appears to be a house.
Someone coughs, drawing your attention back to the cairn-entrance (did some of the sandstone turn to quartz when you weren't looking?).
"Greetings, wanderer. I am Septimus, the representative of this clan. You must be looking for Mother Ashani, yes? If you will please follow me, I will take you to her." Septimus, clearly an imperial in two-legger form (the antlers give it away), leads you swiftly through the antichamber (more of the quartz), then across a massive amphitheatre with a spiraling- is that opal?- staircase (which you can only guess leads to the floating isle) to a set of tunnels that look too ornate to be dragon-make. Down one corridor, up another, taking so many turns that you wonder how anyone can navigate this maze, he leads you up to a simple bonewood door.
"Knock. The door shall open unto you. The Keeper has need of me, but ask Mother Ashani and I'm certain she will arrange for a guide. Most have some difficulty navigating their way through the lair for the first few weeks." Septimus ends with a chuckle. He turns on his heel and strides back into the maze, and you are left alone, until the door swings open.
