Sixel's Clan

Deep in the Western plains of the Scarred Wasteland exists dark and dusty town called Murk. I'm told those that manage to come across the town rarely do by choice, much like myself, one finds it when they're lost beyond all hope, as it's not the kind of place one would find on any map.

The town itself looks like an odd attempt to rebuild from the remnants of a ghost town, stuck in a long lost time period.

The residents, if you can find them, and not a welcoming bunch at first. Most stick to the shadows where the unrelenting sun, wicked dust storms, and rare, but horrid, acid rains, cannot reach them.

They spend the day avoiding each other, and any other form of life that may tumble it's way through the small town during the day.

Nighttime however, is when this town seemingly comes to life... so-to-speak.

Like a flipped switch, when the sun sets, the residents come out of the woodwork to light lanterns, open up their odd storefronts and street venders, and wander out into the rapidly cooling wastelands to hunt and scavenge for what little the wastes have to offer it's rough and tumble residents.

I've been told, by many a curious resident of Murk, that I am lucky to have learned any of the information that I have recorded during my stay here, and now share openly with you, stranger, as it is apparently rare that outsiders like ourselves "last the night here"

Indeed, it does appear to be a rough little life to be had here in the deep Wastes, It must be rare that folks are willing to stay longer than necessary.
