The Provinces -- or Sornieth. The dragons are ruled by a strict caste system based on their blood color (or Flight). They are expected to rigidly follow this system and its customs.
Blood Caste System
Rust (Plague): The bottom-of-the-barrel servants and soldiers.
Copper (Earth): the manual labor force.
Bronze (Fire): The fine crafters. Their jobs pay better than any copper or rustblood's.
Gold (Light): The traditional warriors. Some have instead turned to the pursuit of knowledge -- permitted by the Empress, of course.
Lime (Wind): The skilled, battle-ready commanders. Also engage in commerce and are the main fuel for the economy.
Jade (Nature): The medics and healers. They hold no prejudice against patients.
Teal (Lightning): The clandom's eccentrics. Responsible for almost all new inventions or innovations.
Pale (Ice): The enforcers of the clandom. Make up the population of attorneys and lawmakers.
Blue (Water): The diplomats, and on occasion, executioners.
Violet (Shadow): The aristocrats and politicians.
Fuchsia (Arcane): The supreme leaders of all the clandom, usually headed by the Empress.
This lair's lore contains potentially disturbing themes. Content warnings are given in biographies for dragons with long-form stories. Engage at your own discretion and up to your own limits.
