^{Once a dragon home of energy and life, reduced to a sole survivor - the original progen, Diaval, was left to watch his adopted brethren wither and die before his very eyes. An inner turmoil between two halves of the clan led to infighting, the neglecting of nests, sickness, and bloodshed, thus reducing the clan to just the neutral progen.

Devastated from the failure to stop what was the destruction of his entire clan, he left his home of Starfall Isles to start anew in the Shifting Expanse of the Stormcaller. Upon entering the vast land of lightning, he happened upon a sole egg without a nest - something he couldn't ignore, so he took the egg and cared for it until it hatched into who he named Ohm.

The two decided to return to the Starfall Isles and find a new, albeit temporary lair to attempt to raise up some semblance of what Diaval once had and lost.
