Idea- All magical attacks on dragons leave the color of their magic as a sort of scar for a while unless its a really bad one and is permanent.
Lore idea-
Eventually every dragon will receive a guide, idk what yet though. Maybe a spirit, elemental thing, familiar, dragon, or animal. (Prob familiar or an elemental thing.) When they receive their guide in a dream, everyone celebrates and has a party for them. They keep a notebook that no one else is to touch unless they are allowed or for a big important reason. They keep everything they want in there, not just about their guide and what was said, but many other personal things. When they die, they choose one dragon to read it to themselves and keep it a secret (MAYBE).
When a dragon receives a dream, they can't tell anyone unless told to, or a specific dragon, or whoever they trust not to tell anyone else the info. Like Medicine Cats and StarClan in Warriors.
