Civitas Aurōrae/Norrsken City

This city is named after the clan which first settled here, among dusty old ruins from days long gone. It is located to the west of The Sunbeam Ruins near a vast forest. The first dragon was Hanji, a Guardian searching for her charge. She found it at the foot of a hill and instantly knew its purpose: to give life. From that day forth, Hanji has protected The Nesting Grounds and all of the young who resides there.
For many years she lived in peace with her family, including her adoptive son Olaf. Her clan grew. Dragons joined while others left. As soon as Olaf came of age she gave him the “crown”, focusing her time on her Charge.
Olaf reigned with his mate Sigrid. Often wisely but sadly you can’t please everyone, sooner or later your luck will run out.
After the murders of Olaf and Sigrid the remaining members decided to honour the wishes of their old leader: Two leaders would rule with a council to guide them, everyone elected by the populus. And so Civitas Aurōrae/Norrsken City was born. A city governed by two Consuls and their Eleven Senators.

Although the city would like to be known for its scholars and rich variety of citizens, most travellers come for the Anfiteatro Fiamma, the Ludi or the marketplace.

Our home lies to the west of the Mirrorlight Promenade, slightly south of a grand forest. There are seven ruined buildings, habitable and constantly being worked on, that we call home.
