LORE
Deep within the Driftwood Drag, a newly formed clan inhabits their territory, however small it may seem. A clan of fewer than 100 members can hardly be considered established, but Ancalagon's belief in his dragons has enabled them to quickly dominate their area and create a small name for themselves. The clan was formed when Ancalagon met his mate, Aguantis. Both outcasts, they strived to accept any dragon in need of assistance into their clan and allow them to thrive.

Having fathered many dragons already, Ancalagon's bloodline runs deep. Many dragons within his clan share his DNA, but he has never been apposed from accepting new members, after all, new blood always makes things interesting. The generations already growing, Ancalagon strives to provide for his clan members, a feat he could never achieve without his loyal mate and close circle. His commander of warriors keeps the clan safe, whilst his mate, the head healer, keeps all dragons healthy and oversees the hatcheries. All dragons have their roles, but Ancalagon keeps the smartest and strongest close to him.

Ancalagon's Clan
Ancalagon prides himself in accepting any dragon into his clan, no matter how damaged. Many dragons in his clan could be seen as betraying their own species by hanging around so many different dragons, but everyone in Ancalagon's Clan feels as if they belong there and many have even denounced their previous clans, most due to past conflicts. Within the clan are many separate factions, in which all dragons fit in. These factions not only denote a dragon's role within the clan, but also their status.

The Ancients
After awaking from deep slumbers, two Ancient Banescale dragons found their way into Anclagon's territory. Being the accepting dragon he is, Ancalagon immediately offered the dragons a place within his clan. However they politely denied his offer but did retaliate with their own proposal. Now both Ancalagon and his clan live alongside the ancients in the same territory. The ancients have their own ways and Ancalagon accepts that, consulting them on major issues and sharing kill sometimes. For the most part both clans stay appart from one another, although being on very good terms with one another.

FACTIONS

The Rulers: Emperor Ancalagon and, Empress and Head Healer Aguantis
The rulers within the Clan consist of the Emperor or Empress and their mate. At present, Ancalagon is the reigning Emperor with his Empress, Aguantis at his side. As their bloodline runs throughout the clan many of the members are also a part of the ruling family, however only some decendants have special privileges, that are awarded according to the amount they offer to the clan. The ruling family oversee all the activity happening within the clan, for example border patrols and hunting parties. The Rulers also make the hard decisions within a clan, such as starting or fizzling out clan wars and sorting out food shortages.

The Close Circle: Captain of the Warriors Vondrasa, Witchdoctor and Head of Sorcery Faldor, Head Armourer and Blacksmith Frayan
The close circle are a smaller group of dragons within the clan that have a close relationship with The Rulers. The close circle not only operate the main secotors of the clan, but also advise the Emperor in his decision making.

Vondrasa - the Captain of the Warriors and oversees both the Home Guards, Patrols and Warriors. She also aids in war planning and sometimes clan to clan negotiation.

Faldor - the head Witchdoctor. Although the typical role of the clan Witchdoctor would primarily be to heal the other dragons by using healing and voodo, Faldor mainly covers other areas of magic, due to the fact that Aguantis oversees the healers of the clan. Faldor collects resources to aid Baldwin in his studies and also trains young dragons in both Witchdoctory and Counjiuring.

Frayan - the Head Armourer and Blacksmith. She creates the armour for the King and his warriors. Although simply a worker, Frayan was one of the first members of the Clan and her opinion is highly valued

The Order of Fae: Leader - Empress and Head Healer Aguantis
The Order of Fae's main duty is to first heal all minor or major injuries sustained by any clan member.

The Head Healer - Aguantis - oversees the herb stores and helps gels the worst injuries received by clan mates. The Head Healer also consults with the Emperor as part of the close circle.

The Grand Healers - Dyandrak - along with Scholars, Grand Healers are tasked with writing about all of the plants and herbs that the clan come across and recording any knowledge of healing properties that they may have. They also record the amount of each healing plant stored within the Healing Cave.

The Undertaker - Yasai - have the gruesome job of removing dead dragons and burying them and preparing them for ceremony

Calling Appointed Lesser Healer - Garlanthia - Lesser Healers that have completed their training and are ready to work on their own

Lesser Healers - Yoldor - Festria - Harfel - train by the side of a Grand Healer, or on rare occasions the Head Healer themselves, and also help to gather plants and herbs for The Order of Fae's stores

Ancalagon's Warriors: Leader- Captain of The Warriors Vondrasa
The Warrior's main duty is to protect the clan members from invasion and also protect the territory and expand it when possible

Captain of The Warriors - Vondrasa - oversees all of the warriors. Appoints their role and where they should be whilst on duty. Will plan out all raids and battles

Deputy Warrior - Xaintril - will assist the Captain in any way that is needed. They will oversee the lower-ranking warriors that the Captain doesn't have time for and also organise patrols.

Warriors - Sylvadrah - Toldranor - follow the orders of the superiors. They will go on patrols and typically be on the front lines of most battles. The most skilled warriors will be able to consult with the deputy

Trainee Warriors - Rorkhan - Dragons that have a mentor warrior training them for battle

Zotari's Carnaval
Zotari created her carnaval after she could find nowhere else to express her creativity. Her mother and father had vastly different ideas of what was "beneficial" to the clan, so she decided to create her own community of arty dragons!

Leader of The Carnaval - Zotari - Organises and trains all of the performers and their performances

Performers - Banana - Balkash - Gemsyris - dragons with entertaining talents that are trained and overseen by Zotari. They put on regular performances for visiting clans
