Well I seem to have gotten a hang of it (excluding all the social aspects).
Things I fancy in dragons:
Crackle
Gembond
White base with bright or pastel colours
Blues combined with browns
Faes, guardians, snappers, skydancers (mostly the males)
Obsidian or white with bright colours.
Things I dislike in dragons:
MAGENTA, SLATE
Eyespots when they overlap with a tertiary (such as the aforementioned crackle and gembond)
Ridgeback males, spirals as adults
