a small clearing in the thickest bamboo forest of the reedcleft ascent. there is nothing here... right? it feels like something SHOULD be here. the tree in the middle of the clearing catches your attention. it is surrounded by a small ruin, broken up by the roots. something about this is definitely strange, even if you can't quite put a finger on it.
this place is far away from any other civilization and it doesn't look like anyone has ever lived here, why is there a ruin here? who built it? what is the device at the base of the tree supposed to do? you fiddle around with it for a while, but the metal parts don't budge. you should probably leave again, something about this entire thing makes you uncomfortable.
