It started with the Allmother, she found the lair in the woods that she made into a home for anyone who needed one. It started small, literally, with an eccentric fae who spoke with her for hours on end. Dragons were born, or maybe they wandered in from the dark, and eventually, dragons left too. Some were lost, taken in the night for a higher purpose. Some left, for new adventures and better lives. Some simply didn't feel as if they belonged and did what they could to change themselves until they did belong.

.The Allmother grew old, or maybe she just grew tired, or it may have simply been time for a change, but now the Matriarch rules. New rules, changed or gotten rid of or added to, and new dragons too. New lives, new times, new beings who come and go and leave a story in the lair even after they're long gone.

Another change is coming, the Seer knows it and the Hunter has already arrived to bring it forth- but it moves slowly, and there is no telling when it will finally arrive.

Perhaps it never will, or perhaps it will come tomorrow.
Only time will truly tell.
