Welcome to Arx Caeli, an ancient lair hidden within the vast expanse of the Windswept Plateau. This settlement started with just a few, worn out dragons in search of a place to stay, something to eat, a safe haven for their young. Surely enough the band of original travelers, who the locals refer to as the "viatores primi", made their homes in the sheltered thicket of the Zephyr Steppes. They thrived, raised their hatchlings and started traveling out and discovering other dragons they would trade with.
The tales of their travels would be passed down from generation to generation. The inhabitants of today still know and take great pride in the fact they are, not unlike the viatores primi, helping the settlement shape up to be even greater than the last generations have left it.
Now, Arx Caeli is a bustling center of culture, known for its great commerce, its rich history and for its legendary dragon messengers, explorers of the realms who set out long, long ago in search of new trade partners.
