Shimmering Sands Research Centre

Founded by Basanva, currently the head of research.
Located east of the Sundial Terrace, near the coast.

The Shimmering Sands Research, also known as the SSR, is an established research center dedicated to archiving and analyzing all known history and information on all elemental flights of Sornieth. They also dedicate time to researching the geography, magical biology, and elemental connection to the lands all dragons live in.

While their research can be greatly varied and endlessly expansive, those that participate in the research are dedicated and focused, and do their work efficiently.

Recently, the SSR is interested in the rise of Ancient dragons, species that were either lost to history or thought to be long gone. Many archaeologists are looking into old manuscripts and civilizations to see if mentions and details of these old, seemingly revived dragons have more information to their previous life in Sornieth.

Star Soldiers

Founded by Aisha, daughter of the leaders Nievel and Pembroke.

Built upon the many floating islands surrounding the isles. Some are more spread out to the Starwood Strand, too.

What began as a simple rescue and safety group by two Arcane soldiers blossomed into a small but slowly growing organization that centers itself on protection and peace. The Star Soldiers, run mostly by Nievel, Pembroke, and Aisha, only seek to spread their resources to as many dragons as they can. As time passes, their clan is shown to more and more dragons, and many who have been helped by them now travel through Sornieth to spread the knowledge farther.

All those part of the Star Soldiers bear a golden band on their bodies, symbolizing nothing much but the shining hope that always glimmers ahead.

The Clan itself has no final purpose or greater goal, simply focusing on keeping their homes and those living in them as safe as possible. With the Beastclans and the Shade always one step ahead, the Soldiers are at an endless battle, but with their intelligent and elderly leader, they seek for a different answer to stop the fighting.
