A sleek charcoal wildlcaw approaches you, linen-wrapped tail swaying behind her as she ambles across the clearing. She slows to a halt and looks you up and down with a tilt of her head. There is a curious gleam in her eye.

"Did Voltaire rough you up a little when you ran into him?" she chortles, a wry grin curling onto her lips. "Don't mind him. He's always racing to impress Steeljaw; it gets him in a lot more trouble than he bargains for.

Why don't you get yourself settled in? Anima will clear out a den for you." the wildclaw flicks her tail toward an ornate slate-scaled skydancer with striking tawny antlers curling above her slender head. That skydancer doesn't seem to heed the gesture; she sits with her paws crossed, august and austere, watching her familiar snuff at the ground.

"I'll go tell Steeljaw you're here. He'll give you a real orientation, and if you're lucky, he might just let you stay."
