My Lore and Miscellaneousness~
In the beginning...I found myself standing in a circular room, glancing back and forth between twelve differently colored doors. Each one was adorned with a large metallic plaque that described their owners and the lands that lied beyond - the one at my back simply read ''EXIT''. I read each one carefully, at first torn between the familiar cleansing embrace of the sea and the raw and beautiful wilderness of the glade, until I came to one bright and swirling green door - and felt each word resonate with the child in my heart. I stepped through without hesitation, instantly sure of my choice, and suddenly found a small egg materializing in my hands. It felt warm to the touch and seemed to rock and sway gently on it's own, and I simply cradled it close to my chest, unsure how to proceed. Within a few moments, I heard a voice in the wind - or rather, I as much heard the voice as felt it swirling through my hair, and it said to me, ''The life you hold in your hands has no family, no home, and no predestined obligations of any kind. She is a true wanderer, completely free and eager to live. I have entrusted her to you as a guide, that you may understand the nature of my domain - in this place, your destination is merely where you choose to rest your feet.''
The little egg hatched only a few minutes later, at first poking her head out gingerly, and then suddenly bursting out of the shell as soon as she opened her eyes. She informed me that her name was now Nalia, as she apparently knew how to talk, and also how to fly, and she found it quite humorous that I could scarcely keep up with a flying newborn. We settled - more or less - on the top of a shallow cliff, whereafter she spent the rest of the evening finding and showing me beautiful insects and then eating them in front of me while I rested my lazy, aching legs amongst the reeds. For all the pain in my muscles, though, my spirit was soaring, and I knew I had made the right decision.

Nalia is my progen. I chose green and purple because they are my favorite colors, and I have always viewed them as representing my favorite aspects of life. Green is the color of nature - I love wandering in natural terrains, and I love seeing things grow and change. Purple, for me, is the color of art - it is a difficult color to find naturally, and so it's application requires effort, and often reflects man-made design.
While most of our neighboring clans tend to enjoy soothing instrumental music comprised primarily of flutes and strings, my particular clan really goes wild with a variety of all kinds of music, day and night, and sometimes experiences some rather heated debates between members in regards to what should and should not be considered music. I don't think we've driven any other clans too crazy, though, since we also can't seem to stick to one specific ''home'' for very long - no matter how perfect an area seems, we always eventually grow restless and wind up wandering over the next hill until we spy the new ''perfect'' home. Even when we can maintain claim to a specific territory for an extended period, half the clan is elsewhere at all times. Although the clan as a whole is not well cemented and is quite full of diversity, one policy always rings true - no dragon ever wanders alone.
