Tucked away within a multitude of caverns carved into the side of the treacherous volcano known as the Great Furnace, as well as in winding tunnels inside the volcano itself, you will find where dragons of Blazeclan make their home.

The clan is lead by a powerful and gentle guardian named Blazestar alongside her mate Azureclaw and their healer Poisonlight.
Blazestar also has 11 confidants that help her lead her clan, Flashflame, Sparkdancer, Ashdancer, Razorwind, Bloodtalon, Basaltfang, Frostfire, Pineshade, Breezestorm, Riptide, and Rosethorn. These 11 dragons are her most trusted companions and serve as diplomats between Blazeclan and clans from other flight, as well as other clans in the Fire flight, when Blazestar is unable to see to the matter herself. These 11 often travel to the other lands and can sometimes be away from the clan for quite awhile.

Many of the members of Blazeclan are craftsman and artisans, as the Ashfall Waste tends to draws many creative and artistic dragons. There are a few exceptions though, as Blazestar encourages each of her clanmates to follow the path they love.
Certain members who choose not to help work the forges are given assigned tasks based on their skills.

Thornheart, Blazestar's firstborn son, is the clan's strongest warrior after Blazestar herself and is well respected by the clan. He is in charge of commanding Blazeclan's warriors and defending the clan from outside threats.

Swampstrike is Blazestar's eldest daughter and Thornheart's sister. She is very different from her brother, having a great dislike for violence, and rather than having strength like her brother she possesses an unparalleled thirst for knowledge that constantly drives her to want to learn more. She often travels to other lands in search of new knowledge. She is tasked with keeping the clan's records and libraries in order.(a task which she greatly enjoys)

Cinder, Thornheart's mate, commands the warriors in charge of protecting the clan's nesting area and is in charge of keeping their eggs and hatchlings safe.

Flareblade is an old friend of Blazestar's, who started out as a wandering dragon until he met Blazestar and Azureclaw not long after the two had formed Blazeclan. In fact he was the first dragon to join their clan. This Ridgeback is charged with overseeing expansions of their lair and ensuring that the volcanic activity and the Spirals don't compromise the integrity of the tunnels.

Firestorm, an imperial, and Marshblaze, a coatl, are a sister and brother pair that are in charge of the clan's seekers. They oversee the collection of food, minerals, or any other matter of material the clan might require. One of these two will certainly know where the items you are searching for can be found, and if they are unable to get it themselves they will send one of the seekers to find it.

Emberblaze, a young spiral, is the head if the smiths whenever Blazestar isn't around. Though young, he is greatly respected by his fellow smiths.
