Venus and Neptune met through a young familiar of an unknown species called Pebbles. The young one was very energetic, and ran off.
While flying to catch up, Venus collided into Neptune, sending them both crashing to the ground.
Neptune was the first to apologize, getting up faster than one would imagine he might considering he just fell out of the sky.
Venus, in her typical Fae monotone, explained why she'd not been paying attention, though it was rather difficult as at this point, the young familiar had run up and pounced on her, licking her face excitedly.
The two hung out for a bit, sharing stories, and they realized they had a lot in common; neither one really knew where they had come from, or if they had even come from anywhere.
They often star-gazed together, and between their Arcane theorizing and taking care of the baby familiar (whom they soon learned to be a baby manticore), they slowly fell in love.
Which brings us to the clan you see today. They manage the clan with quite a bit of stress, but nonetheless they care for each and every member.
They even made allies from other flights; one in particular being The Moon-Leaf Clan, who's kind and caring leaders helped them build their home here.
