The Iron Stronghold
Sail out of the mouth between the Ashfall Waste and The Southern Icefield. Follow the currents sweeping ashened water out into the ocean. Soon enough you will come upon the shores of Blacksand Island.

Upon the rocky cliffs of Blacksand Island stands a tower, ancient but unshaken by time. Its ink black hull gleams in the sun, imposing to strangers, but comforting for it's inhabitants. Rediscovered by Aphelion, matriarch of the Blacksand Clan, after she washed upon it's ashened shore. Without previous memories she wandered its halls. The fortress becoming the only home she've ever known.

The second arrival was Perihelion, whos makeshift raft floated ashore. Survivor of a cargoship that blew up thanks to poor fire safety and leaking fueltanks. She helped mending his body and he became her first friend. Their friendship grew and he, who previously just lived on whatever ships he worked on, took up residence with her on the island. The beginning of The Blacksand Clan.
