Next year's holiday familiar - opinions!
Almonihah's Clan
Journeyman Technomancer
Clan Info
The Draezoln clan began when Lattinus, a far-wandering Guardian, found his Charge in the form of a small cave in the Highland Scrub. Not knowing just why he was to guard this place, he settled down and began to enlarge it into a proper lair.
It was not long before he was joined by a young Mirror dragon, Okhura. An oddity in her breed, she had the speed and savagery of the Mirrors, but combined it with a curiosity and a talent for tinkering that suited her perfectly for the Lightning Flight. Together they settled down and began a clan.
Soon a wandering pair of Imperials, Zephra of the Wind Flight and Grezeran, a fellow Lightning dragon, stumbled across their lair. After a lengthy discussion with Lattinus, they agreed to join the clan. Since that time, the clan's numbers have grown from both the hatchlings of the two pairs and exchanges with other clans.
Lattinus is still very much the head of the clan. While he is a Lightning dragon, he does not approach progress in quite the same way as many of his kin. He typically thinks long and hard about his devices before attempting their construction, and even then he does little of the actual work himself, instead directing the smaller and more agile dragons of the clan. In philosophy, he believes in capitalizing on the strengths of all breeds and flights of dragon, and so seeks to bring in a wide variety of dragons, as well as gently advocating the value of cooperation and diplomacy.
Okhura is much more of a claws-on dragon, and will typically head out into the desert to scavenge materials, only to return and immediately start tinkering with what she has found. She often helps Lattinus with his projects, as well, her smaller, more dextrous claws better suited to the fine work his designs demand. While she's not much of a scientist, she seems to have an innate knack for mechanics, and often makes small adjustments or improvements to Lattinus's designs without being able to explain how she knew they would be better.
While their most successful projects thus far have been in digging machines, Lattinus's favorite projects involve the computing machine the clan recently got their claws on. While he himself is a bit too large to use the console they have for it, Okhura is willing to type as he dictates. Currently they're investigating ways to use it in improving automation, but... haven't had much luck yet.

It does involve dragons, half-dragons, and griffons. :D)

Thank you! I was waiting for those scrolls to come out specifically for him and AsaHi. Do you need a skydancer for your lair? :)
Very cool! I won't have Pearls until Monday, so it'll just be a short time more!
erm, I am sorry, but I sort of accidentally levelled your Nirel to lvl 4 (was levelling my lair and realised a bit late X3)
Congrats on Garkheren winning in the Showcase! I'm so proud! :D
Damn I really offered 1.6k gems? XD Alright, it's gonna be a while before I can get that to you but I will!
Wow! Garkheren grew up real handsome! :D
You made my first baby on this site ever an imperial, and even tho they're yours it's so. exciting. They're such a pretty imp <3
Oh.. you have a lovely wildclaw as well! I'm mostly going to breed him against Imperials in hopes for more Imperial babies, but if I end up with a nice wildclaw, maybe we can do some more exchanges down the line? :)
Thank you so much for the Imperial!!! You're actually on the "future trades" list for a pearlcatcher already. It just kinda depends on how big or small my clutches are. The pearlcatcher list is shorter than the spiral. :)
So hard to pick! They're both lovely! How about the tangerine one?
No problem! I'm looking forward to the Imperial! :D
Alrighty! I sent him to you in exchange for 1 treasure (you're not allowed to trade a dragon for nothing at the Crossroads).
