clan of the heartwood grove

you've been wandering the territory of the Gladekeeper for days, battling monsters and searching for a place to rest and heal your wounds. you arrive in a beautiful clearing, bright flowers glowing in the light of the setting sun. fireflies flit between blooms and branches, their silent symphony is mesmerizing. the grass is plush and cool on your tired feet, and you resist the urge to lay down in its softness and sleep until morning.

a large, softly glowing tree inhabits the center, each bough with different shaped leaves. it seems deserted at first glance, but as you look around, you glimpse a feathered wing through the branches of a nearby oak, a tail slither into a bush.

"hello?" you call, feeling eyes watching your every move. "greetings, traveler," a voice answers, serene and friendly. you look around, searching for the owner of the voice, and see a female tundra emerge from the foliage behind you, followed by a cloud of butterflies. "what brings you to our clan?" at this, a myriad of dragons appear, fluttering over trees, poking their heads out of dens in the ground, climbing down from trees. you see dragons of all breeds; a massive snapper next to a nocturne, a pair of skydancers with their tails entwined, and a fae perched on the back of a coatl.

the crowd of curious dragons is parted, and from behind them all, a towering yellow guardian adorned with green fabric makes his way through, meeting you in the center of the clearing. "welcome," he says, and despite his size, you are put at ease by his calm, wise voice. "you may stay as long as you wish."

Thank you! I had made the outfit recently because I wanted a mailman for my lair, and then I found Hesperus who was just perfect for what I had in mind! He now has a forever home with me. <3
