Deep within the Shrieking Wilds, choking trees gave way to something else -- to a creeping legion of kudzu, consuming trees, rocks, and carcasses alike in its unceasing hunger. The kudzu softened the edges of the environment and turned dead trees into pillars of growth, creating blankets of green over pebble-skirted rivulets of quietly flowing water, and only yielded its subtle grip to a slender waterfall and the coursing river flowing from the plunge pool below. The cliff wore a cloak of leaves but lacy tendrils occasionally danced out with the help of strong breeze.

From the top of the falls, a pair of Mirrors surveyed the verdurous dale carving through the Wilds. The female sat upright, slate bar hide and swamp daub wings the perfect camouflage in her realm. Glowing lime eyes ticked like a raptor; she sought every hint of movement and heat below. The male at her side sprawled on his chocolate belly, grey peregrine wings tucked tight to brown falcon hide, and let his own shining cream gaze track the dale. Their dale, their den, their home -- their retreat at the end of each hunt, each raid, each adventure.

The male churred and headbutted the female's hip, Happy? She reclined beside him and met his skull with her own, crests clattering like antlers. Happy, content, she chirped back.
A shriek made them both perk up -- the kudzu sea erupted with chirps, churrs, shrieks, and barks as dozens of Mirrors launched forth from honeycombed hiding places in the kudzu and cliff faces. They leaped and flew, a smattering of other species joining them.

The cliff-watchers mutually sighed; the brief rest from their endless hunting ended, and so too did their own. The founding pair of Clan Kudzu cried out their command, and the pack of Mirrors and others below rushed up the cliff face. Together, the pack moved off into the trees -- much like their namesake, they crept through the Viridian Labyrinth in a flawlessly organized stalk.

A creeping legion, ever on the hunt to satisfy an endless hunger.

Hello! I am employed full time (~80 hours/week), so I may not be on every day -- but I love random messages! I also enjoy dogs (and most other critters), video games, reading, and role-playing.

I love mirror dragons! They look amazing, and their lore is neat, too. I can't help it, I just keep buying them. It's a problem which has evolved into a goal - to collect mirror dragons of every flight, gene, and coloration.

Seriously! I'll buy any mirror you wish to part with for a reasonable fodder price!

Also a tiny attraction to skydancers and pearlcatchers -- they're just so nifty looking, and they have nice lore, too.
