The members of the Wandering Trade Winds consider themselves to be a “Gateway Clan”, in which they offer shelter to any dragon who does not belong to another clan. This clan picks up lone wanderers, outcasts, and any who seek to join their bi-annual migration to Sornieth’s equator at the northernmost region of The Windswept Plateau. These dragons hope to find a place within the WTW itself or moving on to another clan or another part of the world.
The number of clan members is constantly shifting with the sporadic arrivals and departures of dragons who either join temporarily or end up becoming permanent members of the clan. The yearly migrations of the WTW start in the bottom of the Southern Icefields during the summer months as they leisurely make their way towards the equator to the northern Wind trading hubs. There they stay for a while to rest, replenish supplies, hawk their wares, and gain members or drop off any dragons who would like to stay or go out on their own.
After the period of rest, the WTW continues their journey north to the top of Dragonhome where they spend one week at the Pillar giving thanks and praise to their various deities with singing, dancing, storytelling, and feasting. Once the celebration is complete, the WTW backtrack to the equator’s trade hub for another period of rest before returning to the Southern Icefields to begin the journey again. Every year a new route is chosen for the migration to "spice things up".

These clans have earned each others' mutual respect and admiration. Thus, from this day forth, all allied clans members within this convergence shall work together to better the opportunities, strengths, tactics, disciplines, regulations, skills, breeding programs, hoard collections, and food stores for the remainder of time.
These clans under the Windsinger, Stormcatcher, Shadowbinder, and Gladekeeper have come together to honor this noble pact until the end of days.
