What is the most common form of recreation in your clan (apart from sleeping)? Is it unique to your clan?
well asides from sleeping we have races and flying games... living in a flying lair (a steampunk-ish dirigible, to be exact) we have lots and lots of airspace to do that sort of thing. Kite contests are also very popular. On stormy days when everyone has to stay belowdecks games like mancala or chess are popular. The more mischievous dragons simply fly down to whatever lairs or towns we happen to be passing over and play pranks.. Zyphira and Swath discourage this.

The Wandering Trade Winds Merchants enjoy many activities in their free time! Cards and board games are always a favorite pastime as well as story telling, crafting, and contests (racing and scavenger hunts are the most popular). Being a mercantile clan, the WTW have a lot of behind-the-scenes item cataloging to do as well!

Our clan does a fair amount of racing, but the most common game played is a flying ball game, of sorts. The game is rather like a mix of Ulama, Quidditch and Don't let the Balloon touch the floor. Using their tails, the dragons throw a ball into the air and the object of the game is to get the ball through one of two small metal hoops high into the air. However, dragons can only use their tails to whack the ball into the hoop or to teammates.

You cannot let the ball fall down to the ground though, with a loss of 50 points as penalty. The team on which the dragon who last touched the ball before it fell is the team penalized.

Another thing to make the game more difficult: The hoops can be disconnected and moved around by the mages of the clan for an extra challenging game, if desired. The dragons wear leather wraps on their tails to prevent injury.

Edit: Forgot to mention, it's probably rare to find this sport(that still needs a name) outside of the Wulfrose clan, because it originates in the clan. Well, if travelers learn and take the game back to their clan, then maybe...

Uh, other pass times include chess, card games, marbles, and the various hobbies that different dragons have.

All sorts of things. Most dragons play games, tell or listen to stories, craft, and take part of contests.
What is the most common form of recreation in your clan (apart from sleeping)? Is it unique to your clan?
Lots of things! We have some dragons who are only active during the day and some who are only active during the night. Both day and night have their own unique opportunities for activities, so really, it depends on who you're asking. And of course there are dragons who only live here for the educational purposes, but there are others who are here for the general community. That also widely varies.

Recreation for the dragons of the Darkborn is far darker than normal recreation activities.

In their spare time, the Darkborn host gladiator fights in the Arena. Onyx, Blizzard, and Storm are the Preparers; they "set up" the pit by searching through the Arena, capturing and rounding up Beastclan they find to be the "beasts." Sometimes, captured Serthis rebels will be brought from the clan prison as well. The gladiator fights consist of dragon vs. beast, dragon vs. dragon, or beast. vs. beast. Multiple dragons and beasts can be pitted against eachother in any combination, Hunger-Games style. The fights are a bloody source of amusement for the spectators, which are often members of the Darkborn; occasionally, a few outsiders are invited to watch. The most gruesome form of the gladiator fights, dubbed the "Wolf Pack", consists of a single beast, often a rebel Serthis, versus a number of dragons in the range of two to ten. In every Wolf Pack fight, the Serthis invariably perishes, torn to shreds by the claws and teeth of battle-hungry dragons. Wolf Packs are the most efficient and popular way of executing rebel Serthis. In one instance, a captured Serthis rebellion leader was put in a Wolf Pack match against fifteen of the clan's best fighters.

Gladiator dragons are randomly selected by the clan founder, Azurite, and his lieutenant, Fyr. Every dragon is expected to fight at one time or another. To fail to defeat the beast(s) is a sign of weakness, and the dragon is looked down upon. However, it is very, very rare for a dragon to lose the fight.
What is the most common form of recreation in your clan (apart from sleeping)? Is it unique to your clan?
My clan mostly consists of peaceful scholars and healers, so everyone is pretty boring when it comes to recreation. The Heartsgleam Healers have a library and a university, which isn't very exciting for a Light clan XD Most in my clan love curling up with a book and some tea (or hot cocoa in the mild winter). Rosered and Yavanna maintain a modest garden that dragons often visit. Adelaide runs a spa and beach side resort which is fairly unique. My clan has a small entertainment troupe, and they put on plays and tell stories sometimes. The more battle oriented dragons have a sparring ring available. Last but not least most dragons have their own hobbies and sports that they can pursue.
What is the most common form of recreation in your clan (apart from sleeping)? Is it unique to your clan?
The dragons of the Unknown are devoted to the Prophet's religion, and most clan activities revolve around either praising the Lightweaver or preparing the clan for war. The most common of these pastimes is the latter, with the clan spending a lot of time training, play-fighting and practicing offensive spells. Training of any kind isn't a particularly unusual activity for many clans, I'd assume, though perhaps building statues to honour the Lightweaver would be considered a little more...unique.
~Question of the Day~ Quote: What is the most common form of recreation in your clan (apart from sleeping)? Is it unique to your clan?
We don't have any sort of organized sport or activities, but we do have a little activity that we just do to pass the time on long hunts or when things are moving a little slowly. Our clan plays a friendly game throughout the day most of the time. We call it Poking The Sleeping Dragon. You play by softly touching an unsuspecting dragons mane, feathers, or horns/spines. You try to see how long you can do it for, before your victim notices. (The record is 162 in one day, held by Nightshade against Cyborg) It does become an actual organized event around the Trickmurk Circus. Complete with prizes and penalties for succeeding and getting caught.
