Beneath waves and hidden from light resides a clan dedicated to the Tidelord, filled to the brim with dragons as they sing the song of the sea. The waves echo with fishbone wishes and whispered desires. The tides turn with teachings of treasure and how to acquire it. Eyes seek future hymns and voices call to spirits past. The ocean is deep, dark, and unforgiving... unless you heed the storm's song.

Founded by Nimbus, a creation of the Windsinger, this clan was once in the service of the skies. After an accident which left Nimbus alone, sinking into the cold embrace of the deep, did a vision of the Tidelord appear in her jaded eyes.

"Child of Wind, fallen to Water," spoke a voice like a whirlpool, "Cast aside your dying hymn and be reborn to songs of storms."

Nimbus rose from the waves and began her clan anew, now pledged to the Tidelord and his siren call. Those who join the chorus are empowered by the salt and sea, guided by the tides and comforted by the abyss.

COUNCIL OF SONGS
Elder dragons guide the youth in Storm Song. Laws are written, judgement is passed. Appeals to join the chorus are brought forth, while other voices are made silent. All matters must pass through the Council.

MERCHANT WING
The Sea Provides, but some things must be bought and sold. Merchants are welcome, trade is bountiful. Wave Riders support this endeavor, for they alone leave the sanctity of the depths to acquire goods and treasures to assist the Song.

FACTIONS

TIDE WALKERS
These dragons remain close to home, never straying too far from the shelter of their clan. They are the caretakers, the Tide Walkers: the crafters, the healers, the teachers, and the knowers. They are the beating heart of the clan, keeping the life and love flowing to all of their fellow clanmates.

WAVE RIDERS
Among them are those that reach far and wide, touching the boundaries of their realm, collecting and learning. These dragons are the explorers, the Wave Riders: the mapmakers, the messengers, the hunters, and the collectors. With their wide wings and great talons, they provide treasures and treats for those back home.

REEF BOUND
No matter where they find themselves, these brave dragons defend their home and their clan from any and all threats that may arise from the wind, waves, and dragonkind alike. They are the defenders, the Reef Bound: the soldiers, the guardians, and the seekers. They are the mighty teeth and thick scales that keep their kin safe.

ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Venice, but you can call me Katabat! I joined FR in 2015 and I've been on-and-off playing since then. I started out in the Wind Flight and changed to Water in the last few years. My lair has no theme or anything, but I do plan on having in-depth lore for all of my dragons.

Aside from writing lore, I do enjoy art (though I don't any of it very often). I also play a lot of video games on PC/Steam, and I'm always willing to play with new friends. Just shoot me a message and I'll add you on Discord or Steam!
