You find yourself standing at the base of a wide chasm. Thick with the spray of the sea, the air buzzes with magic as the waves of arcane crash into the cliffs. High above, a roc calls, warding predators off from her nest. Following the river inwards, the ravine blossoms with life. Dragons flow in and out of caverns and caves, across suspended walkways and through colourful stalls. Lights, lanterns, and flags hang from ropes stretching across the chasm, signalling the arrival of the festive season. In the distance, a stone obelisk stretches to the clifftops, adorned by chains of flowers.

As you drink in your surroundings, you are approached by a shining guard welding a trident. Instead of a warning, he gives you an invite, and you let yourself be guided into a nearby tavern. Inside, tapestries adorn the walls, remaining stain-free and cosy, despite the constant bustling around them. A pearlcatcher notices you and greets you as you enter, handing you a mug of steaming hot cocoa before attending her regulars. As you settle on a couch by the fire in the corner, you find yourself dozing off. The chatter of the cavern fades to white noise, and you feel at peace.

This is Cavernsong. This is home.
