Emerald (Tundra):
“You’ve got to finish what you start, damn it!” Roared the powerful imperial over the screeches of the injured Maren Warlock. It was clear her blows were not yet strong enough to take on any of these creatures on her own. Emerald was glad for the training, even if Darksplash could be a bit… grumpy. Freya actually bothered to stop and give her information on the beasts they were facing, which let her be a bit more effective with her attacks. Darksplash had stopped yelling so the tundra assumed she was doing okay even if he had to smash the remaining life out of her targets for her.

After a while Emerald’s movements became more fluid as she developed a routine similar to that of her teachers and companions. That led to yet another mistake. She leapt forward to end the Opposing Force in front of her, only to find her attack had done enough to wound and anger the swirling force of the elemental beast.
“The point of the Eliminate stone you hold is to Eliminate!” The dark imperial shadowed the brightness coming from the foe’s attack and a second later it fell apart into the glitter of shattered glass and glowing green dust. From the leftover magical residue formed a strange chest that shook like something living was inside of it.
Freya joined them and nosed the chest towards Emerald. “This one is yours.” She told her with a smile. An outraged cry from Darksplash was silenced with a look from the den mother and her explanation calmed him further. “We’ve gotten plenty, it is only right to share. Emerald has earned it too.”
With Darksplash walking further into the territory grumbling, Emerald and Freya were left with the strange chest. “Well. Go on.” Freya encouraged. Emerald broke the lock easily with her claws and opened the chest. Inside was a Living Sculpture, suddenly still and examining the dragons looking down at him. It must have decided they were friendly enough because it decided to sit next to the tundras after it exited the box. The new familiar was introduced to the Amber Gulper that was also recently added to their group. Emerald would have a lot to take home to her Clan when she was done with her training.

Emerald decided she could take this one on her own. She certainly felt strong enough. The Crystalplate Stinger didn’t stand a chance against her confidence. Her killing blow shattered it into pieces of Chrysoberyl that was quickly gathered and put into a magical pack for carrying later. While moving the shards Emerald’s paw touched something smoother than the surrounding mineral and pulled it out of the creature’s rubble. An Anticipate stone! Her first loot she had earned herself on this trip!

This time from the glowing green dust came a living chest! It looked quite silly drooling like that, but according to Freya her own Ectoplasmime did the same. Emerald might have to give this Snarling Mimic to someone else in her Clan…

“Darksplash! You’re going too far, we shouldn’t leave the Pools, Emerald isn’t re – “
“You want her to learn don’t you? This is the best way. They say near death experiences can drive a lesson home rather quickly.” Darksplash’s tail switched over the scrap metal scattered around them. Being so large, the imperial was far ahead of the tundras and almost at the run-down factory looking building in front of them. His sass had gotten Freya rather angry as shown by her raised neck fluff.
“Don’t you worry, I’m sure we’ll only be here for a short while, at least I will make sure.” She reassured Emerald.
Moving forwards, the tundras had lost sight of their imperial companion but he could definitely be heard wreaking havoc inside of the factory. All the mechanical beings whirring to life as soon as he set his giant clawed paw inside. It wasn’t long before he was swarmed and needed backup, which Freya and Emerald hurriedly supplied.

They were beaten, again and again, by machinery tainted by magic and left to rust. They were injured so bad that they were forced to retreat to the Kelp Beds, where they weren’t lucky either. The dragons were able to settle in the Mire, teaching Emerald her last lessons on combat. She had honed her skills, but as Freya said, there was always room for improvement.

Her departure from the Gladeveins was nothing phenomenal, most of the Clan she was visiting were hiding away in their dens to keep warm. Hector helped her pack her things and hoist them onto her shoulders in a way that she could still fly. Freya said her goodbyes, Darksplash nowhere to be seen, and Desna saluted her with a wave of his tail as she left the camp.

Wizard (Tundra):
The clumsiest dragon around he is, but regardless the best Wizard the world has ever seen. He spends his days (secretly) reading the latest books on upcoming fashions, yet fails to catch on to the latest trends. He loves casting spells and collecting items for the making of his world famous potions, but sometimes feels like he should devote his life to other things...

Don't get him wrong, he absolutely adores the world of wizardry and he is in his opinion and everyone else's opinion the best wizard around. His experiments often lead to injuries, which causes him much pain and suffering. He wears his scars with pride and would never give up his calling.

He can't help but think something... Or someone is missing from his life. His secret obsession with fashion brings him much joy along with his wizardry. He has only recently felt such... Regret?

After breeding with a second mate he has come to realize he is incapable of love. How he yearns to love. To love with such passion that he becomes blind to all other distractions. As much as he loves his calling and (secret) obsession he would give all of it up for love. To love is to live... Or so he believes.

Okami (pearlcatcher)
I want a mate. Sure, friends are great. I have lots of those. It's not that finding a mate is hard, the ladies are practically chasing after me. The thing is: I want beautiful offspring. That's the challenge. Weird? Yes. But my dream nonetheless.

I've tried mating with someone I loved ~ Physician ~ but our single child ~Sal~ did not live up to my standards. She's a great daughter - she was a playful little hatchling, smart, funny, kind. All the things a parent could want, but she isn't beautiful. That is why i encouraged her to serve a higher purpose along with her mother. Physician left because of that - she said I'm selfish. I can't deny that. Physician cold have been my soulmate - but she.... doesn't have the right genes.

When Sal was a mere 3 days old I taught her how to play Hide and Seek. She loved it. We had so much fun. She told me she wanted to play Hide and Seek forever - with me. I told her I would play with her any time she wanted. I lied - i knew this wasn't so. I couldn't bear the idea of having a child that was less than adoringly beautiful. When I think of Sal I think of that memory, but I pretend I didn't lie.

I am lonely. I wish I had Physician and Sal. I want them back more than anything. More than a beautiful mate, more than a beautiful child. They were beautiful - on the inside. And I have come to realize that is all that matters.
