║ THE SCARRED SEER CLAN ║
fr tumblr | dragons for sale
The Scarred Seers are a quiet, peaceful, and reclusive Water clan that reside someplace deep and relatively unknown with the Tsunami Flats. They are undeniably rather difficult to find; few clans at all know of their existence -- and perhaps it's better that way. Among their ranks of highly attuned oracles, a ragtag cast of the remormed, veterans, outcasts, and vagabonds have found a safe refuge within the Seers' naturally terraced sanctum.
Although they are small in size and influence it would be most unwise to underestimate their true power. Threats are dealt with accordingly. Visitors are rare -- but the dragons of the Scarred Seer are not ones to turn away a brother or sister in need of shelter. Some say that there is a flesh-and-blood exalted knight living among them; others believe that they are avidly guarding an enormous divining pool that can forsee any event in the distant future.

With the sprawling expanse of Sorienth's magical realm being as vast it is, there are still portions of the land that remain uncharted -- even in this age of advancing exploration among dragonkind. In the beginning, there were merely rumors shared between traders telling of a mysterious Water clan which inhabited such a place. The approaching winter season has cast its thick veil of mist to enshroud this isolated region of the Tsunami Flats. Towering dark spires of stone stacks, soundly battered by the tumultuous seas, pierce through the fog like silently brooding and looming behemoths. Signs of life appear nonexistent. Save for the discordant squalls of seabirds, the whispering of the waves, and the unsettling drone the wind makes as it blusters between the cracks lining jagged mountain faces, there seems to be little else here other than a treacherous deathtrap to get endlessly lost in. Those who truly wish to seek the Seers must know where to look, first. A trail of black stepping stones mark the beginning of the passage into the unknown, their thread of embedded rock woven between the oppressing barricade of cliffs. There also flutters a billowing blue banner, somewhat frayed by time and exposure to the elements. It's been emblazoned with elaborate whirling sigil with three curling prongs, and all around its pole are adornments of relinquished weapons, beautiful shells on twine, and a small but elegant statue of an armored Tundra to sit guard amid these offerings. |
