Radvom's Clan

So here's how the story goes:

There was a clan, a prosperous one, growing in leaps and bounds. It was a blessing, they said, a gift from Plaguebringer herself. Who else would craft such an extensive cave system in the quasi-flesh of the Scarred Wasteland? Who could soak the land in strange, intense magic? Who else was whispering in the dark?

It wasn't her.

And yet, it was not enough to stop the ferocious will to survive of the sole survivor. From the bodies of the fallen came automatas and constructs, unrefined at first. They grew to be almost mistaken for flesh and blood with their complexity. Prosperity grew once again.

It didn't last.

Few minds remember what happened to that twice over clan. Whatever happened to them in those depths is buried in time, curses and bad luck. Whispers, most untrue but some not, were told of the bounties trapped deep. Forbidden knowledge, countless treasures, creatures forgotten to have existed, anything a heart could desire lost in veinlike caverns.

How could any self respecting treasure hunter ignore such a siren call?

From above the ashes of the lost clan came the Sinew City, built above the proven deadly caverns and out to the sea. What started as a treasure hunt grew into a blooming smuggler's port. It's location - on the outskirts of the Wondering Contagion, tucked between the Reedcleft Ascent and Starwood Strand - made it ideal for those looking to fly under the radar.

A new era grows ontop the bones of the past. Only time will tell if it survives.
