Backstory:
She comes from a peasant family, the third of five children. As a child she suffered from severe migraines and epilepsy, leading her family to try and find a cure. They met an ancient electricity-wielding mage, who saw potential in the young child and took her in at the age of 8. Beth learnt to channel her pain into power, and slowly the ailments lessened. By the age of 17, she was a fully-fledged mage. After her teacher passed away, she became a wanderer, walking from town to town in search of knowledge.
Physical Description:
A lithe, medium-height, skinny figure with fair-ish skin. Brown-green eyes and light brown curls that tumble down the shoulders. She usually wears a hooded brown robe, which she rarely takes off, over a long tunic. She wears a single sapphire pendant, given to her by her teacher, around her neck.
Personality:
Beth usually is quiet and keeps to herself, and is fiercely loyal to those she is close to. She isn't cynical or sarcastic, but will often blurt out reality, in conforming to her strong staunch in honesty. She'll usually try to work her way out of negative social situations, as this can risk triggering a seizure in her.
Weapons/Powers: Electric powers. These increase in intensity when she's hit with a migraine, but it takes a toll on her body. She also keeps a stiletto (a type of dagger) on her for self- defence.

OH MAN I got on here looking for exactly this XD I have a question--what exactly do "dark" powers entail for warlocks? Is it literally dark, like shadows, or would something like illusion magic be okay?

Yes, it is specifically dark magic, surrounding shadows, death, etc. I don't think that illusion magilc would fit a warlock, though it could be an extra hobby for them.
