A Shadow Sprite was perched between Nera's shoulder-blades, and a Magic Nymph trailed behind the two young dragons, trying to keep up. Nera came to a sudden stop and crouched down beside Kaerr. "Look at these windmills!" the adolescent Spiral exclaimed, pointing at the nearest booth. A Snapper seated behind it was slowly assembling more of the little ornaments out of paper and bamboo canes. On the display, the windmills spun in the constant breeze, bright and cheerful. "Do you want one? I still have those Scrolls that Papa gave us." Kaerr stared back at him solemnly for a long moment, frills twitching in what Nera had learned to recognise as uncertainty. He waited patiently, his smile still firmly in place and his normally restless coils patiently falling still so as not to put undue pressure on his little brother to come to a quick decision. The Fae turned to look at the Magic Nymph who was his constant companion. The two held an utterly silent conference of frill-flicks and antennae vibrations, then Kaerr hesitantly pointed towards a windmill with copper-coloured blades. "Great choice," the Snapper smiled. She took the payment from Nera and held out the windmill, which Kaerr took with a rare smile and appreciative frill-tilt before darting back behind Nera to hide. Nera smiled and murmured an apology to her before taking Kaerr's claws in his again and setting off through the crowds. Kaerr trailed behind his brother as Nera explored more of the market, oblivious to the crowds as he watched his windmill spin around and around, his frills waving happily in the fresh air.

He would also jot down notes here and there when he witnessed some form of entertainment or activities.

She found the food here wonderful, but extremely filling. After only a few bites, she was stuffed and felt ready to slip into a food coma. As she wandered around for a place to take a rest, she decided that she would try more tomorrow. She had noticed a booth where it looked like she could prepare her own food and was interested in giving that a shot, but for now, sleep was calling.

" Mitsune happily hummed under his breath, making his way between the festively dressed guests and peering into the raging dragon sea: are there any islands of calm? And if he noticed such an island, he immediately broke this unnatural calm: a couple of bottles of a special firework mixture, a soft pop - and now everyone around is shouting admiringly, when multicolored sparkling clouds of smoke rise above the crowd, turning into animals, then bright landscapes, then in the fast-moving, nimble dragons... On children's islands, he only gave way to the heat of the madness. Clouds of colored smoke dissipated almost instantly. There were no loud pops - thin elastic balls burst soundlessly. But the hatchlings were immediately painted in the wildest colors! "Fruit juice and dyes from edible plants," explained Mitsune to some imperial, who had an eyebrow frowned in dismay. He nodded reassuringly, but immediately tried to weigh Mitsune on the back of the head when he continued: "The kids will wash off in just a few weeks!" Mitsune laughed out loud, scattering his wonderful mixes around him. More, more colors! More fun!! More chaos!!!

It was a joy to spend the time here where she felt so much at home, while the rest of the clan were resting or partying away depending on their preference. She hummed a spell to keep the petals with her, a trivial spell that one of the clan's many mages had taught her. Mint was probably resting. She saw him earlier in the day and they chatted amicably but he had somehow gotten lost, and Sagecrest along with him. They had a tendency to do so, she thought. I'll have to go looking for them in the most obscure paths or stalls for sure. Putting that pesky task aside, she completed painting the wind chime she had carved with her wicked claws, paid the stall vendor (a very handsome snapper, if she did say so herself) and tipped generously, before setting back along the path. She noticed the tickle of a paper airplane that must have been sent by Mint on her back. The folds shimmered with runes. A tracking spell? Just then, a whiff of flowers and Mayflower appeared before her from out of nowhere. Mayflower was arguably better than Moon at sneaking up on dragons, except her perfume always gave her away a microsecond early. There was a time, Malady recalled, where Mayflower, the clan's best potions master, was dabbling in alchemy that hid even that and it freaked everyone out with how silent she could be. Everyone except Sagecrest and Frost, those two were unflappable to a fault. We found you another friend. She gestured towards Sagecrest. On his back, a kitsune peeked out, hopped over, and trotted towards her. He seemed a little confused by the swirl of petals he walked through, and sneezed. Eyes wide open, taking in all of the paint splotches and crafts on Malady's person he smiled widely and offered a paw. Mayflower must have been teaching the other dragons her ways, because all of a sudden Malady was hit by the familiar smell of her clan dragons. Cloaking magic from Majesty perhaps? She wouldn't put it past the shadow dragon. They ushered her over to a clearing slightly apart from the main crowds. Mint was right there! Thank goodness he wasn't lost after all. In his map kit a brand new set of paints he was handing over to her. Moon had brought some of Malady's favorite plants, Hawthrone some of Malady's favorite bugs, and Maestra had even gotten her the latest book Malady had wanted from her favorite series, signed by the wind-born artist himself. Close to tears, Malady bumped her nose on each of her beloved clan family. "I can't wait to introduce you to everyone," she started on animately to her new kitsune friend, "I know all of their weaknesses, hehe. Such saps, you'll get to know."

He looks nervous, but only until a skydancer begins plucking out a mysterious and beautiful tune on a harp. Once the music begins, he is a changed dragon. He begins to sway back and forth. It's subtle at first, but soon his whole body is moving, and his polished finery flashes in the light. He raises his arms, tracing complicated patterns in the air with his outstretched claws. The focus moves to his shoulders as he rolls them in a figure eight, fluttering his wings. He is wearing a sylvan and a feathered set over his real pair, and somehow all three are moving in slightly different directions. The effect is hypnotizing. He dips low, stretching his neck and tail out straight, then tucks them in and leaps absurdly high. Once, twice, three times he spins around, a whirl of color and grace, and lands solidly on his feet. All his jewelry chimes at the impact. He is still only long enough to let the sound ring in the air, then he is moving again, and he does not stop. He is too caught up in the rhythm. On and on he dances, becoming one with the music. Sometimes he makes eye contact with dragons in the crowd, and winks or smiles alluringly at them. From the tilt of his head to the flick of his feathered tail, every part of him is in motion. The dance flows like water from his limbs. All too soon, the song is over, and the wildclaw stops. He seems to notice the crowd he has attracted for the first time, and becomes nervous again. "Oh! @Canisa As Erratio gets increasingly frustrated, the wildclaw hands Dave some gifts and suggests he try to distract Nalia with them.

@Welgan The wildclaw smiles to see such a wonderful example of friendship. Truly, what better embodiment of the spirit of Mistral Jamboree?

@VolcanicThunder Luckily, kite-making is a favorite pastime for Wind dragons, and her kite quickly turns out... uh, passable. Still a little crooked, but the silks tied to the tail are beautiful.

@Lundlaeva "What a nice windmill! Would you like some flowers to make it blow a fragrant breeze?"

@AshuriiAkemi The hands are some sort of accidental curse, which he is too incompetent having a hard time removing. Luckily they don't try to grab anyone who gets too close.

@L1BR4 Itzli possibly may not understand the concept of gifts either, but hopefully they will be able to deliver these things to Cumulus and Einws when they find them.

@YanderePower He might just end up collecting something more than information!

@TrashHoe If only the wildclaw had any pillows to give out! Alas, just these weird friends.

@JinxMoonstone Cupid hopes his performance was up to her standards!

@Dil Uh oh, Cupid hopes he won't get any of those in his feathers. You don't even want to know what it takes to wash them properly!

@dustclouds There sure are a lot of petals around! Malady might need a few more spells
