He can be a little eccentric and absent-minded, preferring books and quiet to people. However, that doesn't mean he's unconcerned with people either, indeed, he loves nothing more than to use his vast accumulated knowledge of physical and mental health and healing techniques both ancient and modern to help out those around him, and not just dragons, but all beings. It's his love of the knowledge and lore itself above the practice that seats him firmly as a medical and psychiatric scholar rather than an official healer. (Lore/name is a nod at his amethyst theme and the stone's supposed metaphysical properties of protection, cleansing/clearing of negativity and confusion, general healing properties etc.)

An outfit for a scholar dragon that I don't actually have yet, so it's worn here by Orthria because she's the same breed and gender and looks good in it. (Eventually I'll find the right dragon for the character I have in mind but you know how it it lol)

A lady who is supposed to be an archivist, but can only really be called a scholar, because an archivist would be expected to keep the clan's archives in order, and she really does the opposite of that. She is much more interested in finding the documents she needs for her research than she is in putting them back where they belong when she's done. The reason she still holds the title of 'archivist' is that at this point, the records are so incredibly disordered that at this point she is the only one who can find anything in there. She loves her work so much that no one has the heart to kick her out, and no one has the courage to attempt to understand the complex organization system that she insists is in place. She is of the opinion that as long as she knows where everything is, that's good enough.

(Proper camouflage helps when catching insects as well as larger animals, you know.) The dove "helps".
