As I’m sure you’re aware, Sornieth is in danger: the Deities have been shrunk down and trapped in Relics by the Arcanist’s latest experiment, and you must have noticed that space is collapsing down onto the planet.” [size=6][font=Book Antiqua][color=ff00ff]A[/size][/font][/color]s if on cue, a large meteorite ridden by a gibbering alien creature sails overhead, trailing fine particles of glittering pink dust. The Fae pretends not to notice, though her frills twitch. [size=6][font=Book Antiqua][color=ff00ff]“W[/size][/font][/color]e do apologise for any inconvenience caused by these cataclysmic events,” the Fae says, in a tone that suggests she has been practising that line. Our spell seems to work for now, but our tests also showed that the deities may eventually return to stone. We can't have them always turning to stone, so our research must continue." "As you can see, this is the pile of items we believed would help save our deities from turning to stone. We found that the greater majority of these items make pretty pink explosions, but not much else." The fae reaches in and pulls out a shimmering cloth. As far as we can tell, items from this area, the Arena, and those naturally found digging and scavenging in the Arcane region seem to be the key to preventing our deities from turning back into stone in the future." [center][size=5][b]How to Participate[/b][/size][/center] Donate junk items from your Hoard for the chance to win prizes! There are two different categories: [b]Save the Deities[/b] and [b]Repel Space[/b]. [u][b]All[/b][/u] junk donations will get you tickets to the 50/50 Raffle. Donating the selected daily and bonus items to [b]Save the Deities[/b] will earn additional tickets to Arcane’s In Flight (IF) Raffle or Out of Flight (OOF) Raffle! These items will also earn you tickets in our Prize Pack Bucket Raffle. Tickets for the all the raffles are awarded based on the [u]value[/u] of the items sent. This event will run until the [b]end-of-day Rollover on Saturday 1 October 2016[/b], by which time the Observatory hopes to have perfected its spells and returned Sornieth and the deities to normal in time for the Starfall Celebration... The deities are saved! Thanks to your help, all of the flight's deities are back to normal, but we aren't done yet! The experiments that came out of the Observatory didn't prove to be permanent. To help keep the effects from reversing, we need to keep doing research. Items from the Crystal Pools, Arena, and items native to Arcane seem to be the key to making the change permanent. We need more of these items to help keep our beloved deities from turning to stone ever again! They’re coming up with some great ideas, but all theories need to be tested. They need supplies so that the Arcane mages can create models of the Relics and test their restoration spells. Every day, the Observatory will release a list of items needed for their research: one item for each deity per day.
