A hauntingly handsome Noc approaches you with a swift grace. He lands in front of you, but doesn't appear to actually touch the ground. He lifts his head and you finally can see his eyes Which seem to be as dark as the air around him. In a soft, seemingly echoed voice he says:
I see that our game has piqued your interest. We thank you for visiting us and taking part in this challenge. I wish you luck and hope that you may have the foresight of a true oracle.
As he floats away, a scroll rolls up to your feet. You pick it up and find the following information:
Quote:
1. Entrants must guess what the outcome of the first egg in the nest for each pair will be. Points will be added for each spot on the color wheel/gene list that the guess is off once the egg is hatched. (See below for more details.)
2. Any user is limited to three (3) guesses, with each one costing progressively more. Here is the breakdown of payments for entries:
a. The first entry will cost 600 treasure or 1 gem.
b. The second entry will cost 6000 treasure or 10 gems.
c. The third entry will cost 12,000 treasure or 20 gems.
*The tiered pricing is enabled to allow just about anyone to enter, but to limit the possibility of anyone being able to guess every combination.
3. All entries must consist of three (3) guesses, one for each of the breeding pairs below. (A big thank you to @Emberglo for allowing me to borrow two of her nests for this game!)
4. Please copy and paste this form and post the completed entry in this thread. Then, submit your entry fee to me, @Skellington10802. Your post must contain all three entries. If you are not doing all 3 at once, we ask that you update your previous post with the next guess. This will help keep things organized!
5. Entries will be accepted until 23:59 FR time on Saturday, November 7th. Any entries received after this time will be ignored.
6. Points will be tallied based on how far off a guess is from the actual outcome of the hatchling's colors and genes. The person with the LOWEST scores will be the winners. In the event of any ties, random.org will be used to determine the winner, if necessary. Here is how the scores will be tallied:
- Guessing the wrong gender will add 15 points to the entrant's score.
- I will be using the drop down menus in the Scrying Workshop to determine the point values.
- Once hatched, the hatchling's colors and genes will become the baseline.
- *Breed will not be a factor.*
- For every slot that the entrant's guess is off, a point will be added to their score.
- For example, the tertiary outcome is Gembond, but the entrant guessed Spines.
The entrant would have four (4) points added to their total. Had they guessed Underbelly,
They would only receive one (1) point added to their score.
7. Have fun!
