Deep in the Leviathan Trench, creatures have begun to stir who have not been seen in thousands of years. Creatures unnamed grow restless as disappearances of dragons grow common. We need all the help we can get to discover as much about these creatures as we can if we are to have any hope of containing them. Each day a new prompt will be revealed. Participants will respond to the day’s prompt and a winner that best represented the day’s challenge will be selected at the end of the week. Participants who respond to every prompt will be eligible for the final prizes awarded to the most creative creatures who best embody the mysteries of the Leviathan Trench. You are not required to complete each prompt, but will instead only be eligible for the daily prize if you only participate for that day. Judging will focus on creativity and originality as well as descriptive quality. There is no minimum, but please keep entries under a soft-limit of 500 words. While we’re not going to disqualify entries at 501 words, we just want to ensure each entry is sufficiently on topic and that we have enough time to give each entry the attention they deserve.
