An airship is moored to the rock, a jauntily colored banner hanging off one side, advertising "EXTREME! Beach Volleyball!" and an arrow pointing down. Drifting up from below, you catch the sound of raucous cheering, pained-sounding grunts, and...is that thundercracks? Following a zig-zagging path down the cliff face, you find the source of the commotion along a narrow stretch of meticulously combed beach. There is a volleyball match taking place at one of the three nets, and the stands are full of roaring fans. A rather dapper-looking pearlcatcher in a tophat is commentating from a booth set above them. You listen with half an ear, but find yourself captivated by the furious back-and-forth of the game. A flashy robotic ridgeback goes for a spike, sending the ball flying over the net in a blur of white and orange. The guardian on the other team dives for it, when it suddenly veers off its original path, leaving the stunned dragon laid out flat on his stomach. The ball bounces to a halt in the sand near the back line, unrolling to reveal it is actually a tiny snapper, doing a little victory dance as the crowd goes wild. It is a 2v2 (2 dragons - you may join with a teammate or just use 2 of your own dragons) dice game I developed that utilizes a combination of luck, stats/skills (based on your dragon's coli setup), and strategy. Okay, but WHAT MAKES XTREME BEACH VOLLEYBALL so XTREME?? The objective is to make sure the other team can't return the ball - which is no ordinary ball - using all the skills you have available. ANYTHING GOES! Clobber your opponent with the ball hard enough to make them see stars! Send it on a jet of water/flame/lightning/WHATEVER so fast it hits the other side of the court before the other team can get to it! Use magic shields to bounce it back automatically! It's up to you to put the XTREME in the game! And lets not forget the XTREME prizes up for grabs for the XTREMEST winners!

You will earn as many tickets from a match as points that you score, even if you lose - and if you win, that amount is doubled. *For repeat matches* Each win subtracts 1 "stamina" (points needed to beat you) and 1 #d from each dice, while the losing team gets it as a bonus if you choose to play against them again. The opposite is true for losses - losing will grant you a 1 stamina/#d handicap and subtract one from your opponent. This is unique for each player (so losing against an athELITE team will not make that team easier for everyone, just the person who lost) and the values will "reset" Tuesday and Friday.
