Advanced Legacy Challenge

INDEX:

Intro | Goals | Key Rules | Individual vs Team Play
Legacy Difficulty Levels | Modifications & Allowances | Points
Lore | Special Thanks

In the beginning, there were dragons and dreams of taking the most awfully RNG-chosen mess to something beautiful, timeless, beloved, and rare. Then came the push for Dominance, as more and more Flights put forth greater and greater efforts to rise to the top. So begins another Challenge in the long line of Legacy challenges.

The rules follow the original guidelines, with a few specific modifications. I've also updated the original points list for use here, as well as added a few additional categories. The core concept comes from their main points.

Dominance, Team Play, and Legacy Projects.

If you have never before been involved in Dominance efforts for your flight, maybe this will give you a low-effort, low-level reason to get your toes wet. Maybe not. Remember, this is only a challenge and you decide if you want to attempt it or not.

If you've never before attempted a Legacy Challenge, warning - this comes with rules that up the difficulty and possible frustration levels.

Individual vs Team Play

INDEX:

Intro | Goals | Key Rules | Individual vs Team Play
Legacy Difficulty Levels | Modifications & Allowances | Points
Lore | Special Thanks

There are two versions of this Challenge. Individual or Team-play. If your Flight hasBattle Guilds, or something similar (where a group of players, as a team, work together to help their Flight attain dominance / profit push), you may opt to enlist the help of your team.

If, in such a case that such groups do not exist, you may do this as a solo-mode run.

Or, even if they do, you can still run this as in Solo mode.

The rules between them are pretty much the same, except one. If you are working on a team, and opt to do team-play mode, you can ONLY get Mates from them.

In turn they may help you by leveling and/or exalting them for you (in the case that you cannot level them yourself).

Team Play
  • You must obtain Mates through your team.
  • They may help you level/exalt them.
  • If your team has a Sniper / AH haunter, you MAY ask them to look for something specific.
  • Mates can only be bought at current (AH floor) fodder proces.
________
Individual Play
  • You must obtain Mates through Dominance related activities.
    ~~ Dragon catcher for a raffle/event.
    ~~ Holding dragons for levelers.
    ~~ You cannot snipe for a Mate.
  • You must either level them, or find someone to level them to 10 before exalting them. *
  • If you are working the raffle/event as a catcher, you MAY entice people to send your dragons of a specific kind in order to "catch" a proper mate. **
* This is difficult in the world of Dom, as the best level to send a dragon off to a deity is about the 6-7 range. Things slow down too after that to make it "worthwhile".

** Remember that when you catch for yourself, you are taking a dragon away from the current DOM efforts. Make sure you have a replacement dragon on hand to swap it out.

Scoring is Optional

You may choose to keep score, if you so wish. This is a personal challenge, and at this time I am not offering any points for "best score", except maybe some cheering for being awesome. :)

Money
  • 10kt under budget for Mates = 2
  • For every 10kt made when exalting = 2
  • Donating you Legacy Exalt Profits to your Flight's efforts = 2 (per 10kt)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nest & Hatchlings
Per hatchling, per Generation's Clutch*
Nest
  • 4 Eggs between same breed group (common x common) = 1
  • 5 egg nest = 5
Hatchling Outcomes
Heir's Score is doubled.
LORE
The Deities, knowing the rising of the Beastclans were putting pressure on their offspring, decided to call to the Lost and mark them for greatness. These dragons would produce a bloodline of strong warriors and mages that would fight beside them. IN such a process they would rally and inspire future generations of dragons, and in doing so promote confidence while facing a lesser though no less dangerous threat.
