So my 1st generation pair finally gave birth to 4 hatchlings! She is the oldest of the four and, being the proud only-daughter she is, has predetermined herself the leader. She inherited her father's cruelty with a perfect mix of both of their colors. Despite her nature though, her mother Torrent still coddles her and cherishes her as her first child. She is also Zayn's favorite because she acts just like him. He and Holly detest each other, both wishing to be at the top but due to Riros's influence of his mothers kindness, he backs off. He tries to keep Holly's wrath off their two younger siblings by standing up to her- he is a good older brother it seems. He looks up to Holly even though she couldn't care less about him and just wants to prove to everyone that he can be amazing too. He is Zayn's least favorite son due to his cowardice and hopefulness and is shown just how much by his father's complete lack of attention. Torrent sees this and feels sad about it so she makes sure to show him extra love and care, but unfortunately this just makes Zayn and the other siblings more irritable towards him. He is the youngest of all but doesn't crave power like the rest do. His size would automatically give him an advantage over all his other siblings but he has no interest. Perhaps he knows what's coming and doesn't want to bother with it... believing he will win? This is what others in the clan believe but he could have also just inherited his mom's nature of being kind and merciful. Who knows. Holly makes sure to keep him in check though by constantly pulling the "i'm older card" which does't really matter in this case but seems to have an unreasonable influence on him. These four will fight to the death in the Coliseum after they have all reached adulthood, unknown to Torrent. Hopefully Zayn's treachery doesn't break whats left of her... [img]http://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/515103/51510274_350.png[/img] Kirshta had an upgrade on her primary from tapir to jaguar. ----- They fought bravely in the training fields, but in the end it was the firstborn who claimed the right to the bloodline. Dakiana and her new mate, Caodai, are now incubating a nest of three eggs. Let’s see what generation 7 holds! A little while ago, the four hatchlings of Zayn and Torrent finally grew old enough to carry out the gruesome new ritual created by their father. The first battle took place between Holly and Riros. They fought valiantly, constantly insulting and taunting the other until finally Holly fell. It was extremely close but Riros claimed the victory. This concerned me because there was now a competitor who had a chance to succeed with no gene upgrade, and I was hoping to kick this challenge off with a bang. The next battle was between Tygo and Casteon, with Tygo eager and wary and with Casteon relaxed and unsuspecting. The opponents took advantage of this and drilled him with all they had. Casteon took the majority of blows time and time again before finally crumpling to the ground with a mighty crash. Tygo was once again overshadowed by his sibling but this time it turned out in his favor. Now I wasn’t as excited as I would have been due to having the winner either be no upgrades with nice colors or one upgrade with devastatingly nasty colors. Either way, I was rooting for Tygo because I would rather have a step forward than no steps at all. With the final deciding battle drawing near, both Tygo and Riros saw the chance to prove themselves that they’ve been waiting for. It was a close fight but Tygo’s ability to be forgotten once again prevailed, being overlooked as the enemies charged Riros. With that the winner of this Challenge is Tygo, who has the Underbelly upgrade! Tygo's new mate is now the [i]lovely[/i] Plague. Torrent is distraught with grief at losing three of her children and doesn't leaver her cave, only allowing a select few inside. She cut ties with Zayn after discovering the truth but is too ashamed to return to her homeland. [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/524438/52443781_350.png[/img] Ulhar was the firstborn and the only daughter, as well as the only one to have a primary upgrade from Tapir to Cherub. [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/524438/52443782_350.png[/img] [img]http://flightrising.com/rendern/350/524438/52443783_350.png[/img] Charir and Achuak had no upgrades (and some funky colors!) When the battle first began, I knew that it was unlikely for Ulhar to win. It was two against one. But the three of them all seemed to remain fairly resilient in the Training Fields as they leveled up quickly all the way to level 4 within just a few minutes. Once they hit level 4 and all of their energy was restored (so it was fair), I moved them to the Woodland Path, where they encountered a pair of Basilisks. [center][item=basilisk][/center] Achuak was the first to go. The brutal birds went in heavy with their attacks on him and Charir, but Achuak got the brunt of it. He never even got a single turn in the battle. An attacker then lunged at Ulhar, but she dodged. Another blow landed on Charir. Then another. He had about half of the health of his sister. I felt bad for wishing him gone, but I was hopeful that Ulhar may win if things continued this way. But then the Basilisks changed targets. Swipe after swipe, they drained Ulhar’s energy down to nothing more than a sliver. She was bleeding badly. But at last second, one of the beasts scratched Charir once more, slaying him. Ulhar bled out in the next turn, but hey! She won! All I need now is a breed upgrade and I’d be totally set! Ulhar’s mate is this handsome lad, Cyperus. [center]I haven't updated in a while, but here we go! Ulhar and Cyperus had two children, both female nocturnes. Tilsin, who had a primary updrade, and Torqe, who had no upgrades. In the legacy battle, it was the firstborn who won!
