I regret everything I ever said about their colors. Looks like fifth gen's bringing [s]sexy[/s] purple back. Well, purple secondary. The tert will either be too ugly or too beautiful to matter.

Will Pathfinder's curse-carriers be doomed to bear it as this goop caking their scales? [s]Idea shamelessly stolen from Tainted Eden[/s] Or will their curse return to a more insidious physical form? Only time and luck will tell.
Cluster's mate. I've yet to name her. The NASA missions random name generator would be the easiest way, but I've liked how the different themes of the mates' names have given me some lore ideas for them. (Murdoc I named using FR's random name generator because his parents' names also started with M, Cannae with her Light heritage I made a historian of war after the Battle of Cannae, and Stormbound is a portmanteau of her parents' names.)

Perhaps her Shadow nature can introduce a smidge of good, ol' chaotic neutral into the family line: [i]Of all dragons, Shadow Dragons are the most enthralled by games, and delight most in winning, even if it means underhandedly.[/i] It'd be interesting how the couple's dynamic pans out. I imagine Cluster is much more conscientious. He's inherited his mother's dream as much as he's inherited his father's curse, after all, and perhaps is much more aware of the forces of legacy and destiny at play here than any of his predecessors...or even some of his successors.

A Leafy Moth and Yellow Sparrowmouse attacked first, both attempting to scratch River but the female skydancer managed to dodge the second blow. Ocean attempted to scratch the Sparrowmouse but missed, as his younger sister decided to meditate. The Leafy Moth scratched River, the Yellow Sparrowmouse targetting the older imperial as he returned the favour. River contused the Yellow Sparrowmouse before it and the Leafy Moth both attacked her, ending her life.
[b]And wowie was that quick! my winner being the double-upgraded Ocean. Now i'm at the breed i want, im just going for genes!

During the many battles Emissary was the first to show the true laziness that has been passed from their mother. She lacked in power and will to be strong. Chappi was the next to fail. His lack of intelligence helped his down fall along with the loss of his sister.
Pena was the last to be standing. She proved that not everything was lost in this family. She was patient and cunning. She defeated her enemies quickly and efficiently. Takeshi was very proud of this young one.
“You have Passed my child, now go home to your mother.”

Heya! My 9th generation just hatched - and I´m rather amazed, to be honest.
All three are male Pearlcatchers, but I´m not really surprised by that. I´ve been stuck with them since my Generation 1 heir was a Pearlcatcher, and I´m really glad I rather like their pose =D
The oldest brother, Arakyra, has no upgrades whatsoever, and his colors are - interesting.
