@Oilux I have a question.

I happened to get a Boos the first time in. The items in question are thus super rare. Both the tendrilback caterpillar and the featherback pelt can only be gotten by defeating the boss.

So to be sure I'm reading the rules correctly, I'm sporked - I have to go after the one boss 99 times and hope it drops the items in question right?

I know a lot of folks say that challenges can be modified as needed. but I went in for a "pure", by-the-book attempt. I just wanted to be sure I was interpreting the rules correctly?

Nevermind, I totally missed the exceptions..... I'm way too tired to be doing this right now.

If you're going in for a pure, by the book challenge, then you're stuck with a boss drop. Personally, I would refresh and take the first drop that came from a normal Coli enemy. No one really expects you to go through the Arena venue hunting for a boss. Someone did that once though, I'll admit.

@Oilux I've been keeping track of what got dropped.

Although i can appreciate the tenacity of those that do it, boss drops are rare enough. Maybe when I have more time on my hands i'll attempt that level! XD

So my second fight, I got hallowed Ivy and I'm sticking with that.

*sweat drops* Yikes. lol

Also I cleared out everything in my hoard (except familiars) to make it easier for me to track things. So everything either got put into my Vault (treasure and gems included), or hoard-sold.

The story line I'm using is that the pair decide to go out and do this as a personal challenge and get trapped. muahahaha. So they have to cope with whatever is handed to them.
